Research Use Only Agreement

This is the agreement you accept before every purchase. It exists to make one thing unmistakable: everything Eterna Labs sells is for laboratory research — never for human or animal use.

1. Purpose of this agreement

This Research Use Only Agreement supplements our Terms & Conditions. By accepting it — including by checking the acknowledgement box at checkout — you enter a binding commitment regarding how our products may lawfully be acquired and used.

2. What these products are not

The products are not drugs, medicines, dietary supplements, foods, beverages, cosmetics, medical devices, or consumer products. They have not been evaluated or approved by any regulatory authority for safety or efficacy in humans or animals. No statement on this website should be read as a claim that any product diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, or affects any disease or condition.

3. Your certifications

By ordering, you certify and agree that:

• You are at least 21 years of age;
• You are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, laboratory, or business, and are competent to handle research chemicals;
• You will use the products solely for legitimate in vitro laboratory and/or animal research;
• You will not administer the products to yourself, any other human, or any animal except in a properly authorized research context;
• You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional safety and ethics protocols.

4. Safe handling & compliance

You are solely responsible for safe receipt, storage, labeling, use, and disposal of the materials, and for determining and obtaining any approvals required for your research. Materials should be handled only by trained personnel using appropriate protective equipment.

5. No resale for consumption

You will not resell, repackage, relabel, or distribute the products for human or animal consumption, or in any way that misrepresents their research-use-only nature. Any downstream transfer must carry the same RUO restrictions.

6. Acknowledgement at checkout

Before completing any order you must affirmatively acknowledge this agreement. The acknowledgement is recorded with your order as evidence of your acceptance. Orders cannot be completed without it.

7. Consequences of breach

Misuse of the products or breach of this agreement is grounds for immediate cancellation of orders, refusal of future service, and may expose you to civil or criminal liability. You agree to indemnify Eterna Labs against any claims arising from your misuse, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
